L'Osteria Munchen Schwanthalerstrasse in Munich

Dear Sir or Madam, unfortunately our order was delivered without tiramisu, even though we paid for it in full. In addition, the pizza was delivered without a box and was completely cold. This was my first order from you and probably the last. The quality of the pizza is okay, but unfortunately that doesn't really make it any better. What is really very weak now is that the L‘osteria has wanted to repay the money for the tiramisu for almost 3 weeks, but it didn't happen despite several emails. Of course, at 10:00 p.m. it was relatively close to the end of the working day, but if that's too late for you, maybe it shouldn't be offered anymore. With best regards Andreas Rutkowski

Unfortunately, I have to take back my good rating. Some (not all!) Unfriendly service staff, orders are not ready at the specified time (sometimes 20-30min additional waiting time, and that in times of Corona), the pizza has a below-average amount of cheese on it

Very good food, the waitresses are super nice and the price is OK. The portions of the pizza are very large so if you are just a little hungry and have someone to eat you should share a pizza. It is possible to have the two halves assigned differently. Highly recommended.

Although it wasn't very busy, it took a long time to be served. We also know the food better. The salad wasn't that good and the pizza just average. We know that differently in Heilbronn.

#pornpizza I would say. Really very friendly waiters. That's the way it has to be. Pizzas bigger than the plate and tasty. Price performance ratio top. Waiters follow hygiene rules. I was really happy.

We had to wait for more than 1 hour during lunchtime for our order to arrive. We did not receive any warning/updates while waiting. The manager was unapologetic. Her reply was basically: the oven didn't work so the dishes came late. I understand that in Corona times operating a restaurant is challenging, that unexpected problems may show up and that employees are not superhuman, but I think that at least some updates or nicer behaviour by the management would have been appreciated.

Good pizzas the size of a wagon wheel. It is important that if you work with an open kitchen, hygiene is visibly in order. Now cleaning was done with the help of an aerosol cleaner on the place where food is being prepared at the same time. Furthermore, the employee concerned will then make pizzas again with the same gloves on, which he used to clean beforehand. Task for management to raise awareness and train its staff in this regard.

Delivery after ordering more than half an hour late. When I called after half an hour overdue, the employee was overly unbelievably friendly. "The driver is already out with all orders ... The time is only a general value that is displayed ... The driver is doing his rounds ..." - you worry about whether the late order will arrive warm. Callers flat-rate to Duzen, especially if someone calls and complains, I find very inappropriate. With a delay of 51 minutes and several calls later, the order arrived after 10 p.m. Of course completely cold. Not surprising after almost 1 hour of delay and completely without any warming box. More than 1.5 hours after ordering we needed something warm to satisfy our hunger. Fortunately, the kebab around the corner is still open so late ...

Delicious and huge pizza. Nice service and the decor of the place is also very nice to look at.

Good value for money, food is also very good every time, with good choices. Service always friendly and courteous. Surroundings are not outstandingly beautiful, but also not disturbing, therefore 4 stars.

Good pizza, well served basil tomato pasta. Maybe in view of the size a little lack of materials. Correct price and friendly atmosphere. Too bad the Covid does not show the potential of this restaurant.

Typical L'Osteria, very good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Be sure to try the pizzas, but the pasta dishes are always very tasty.

Definitely Bad service! The food at all the L‘Osterias are standardized so wouldn’t say anything special about the food itself.

What a delightful place! Extremely friendly personnel. Awesome, very big, pizzas. The waitress didn't blink when we started 'customising' our orders, speaking of customer first professional.

Weiters even don't come to the door to talk. U should scream over 5-6 meters about your order. But pizza as always tasty.

Tasty pizza, really! Any food also that I ve seen around, looked and smelled goooood. The staff is also nice! Maybe you will need a reservation to be sure that you will get a place, cause as all L'Osteria restaurants in Munich use to be fully reserved

Good food and design

A sprawling restaurant for a pleasant dining experience. As usual Losteria menu never disappoints you with a wide range of items in their menu and guaranteed taste.

Really Big Pizzas, Take care of what you are ordering. Taste is Ok. Ambience i good and staff were courteous. They can introduce a smaller size of pizza.

Atmosphere is great, because of the nice interior and although the set up is spacious, it still feels cosy. Yet, it can be very, very loud. Even so loud that you cannot understand the people at your table. Personell is okay, some are friendly, some are not that friendly. Service level is medium, but still okay. Especially for this price level. You can argue about the quality of the food (mostly experience with pizza). I really like them, especially because you can order two different toppings on one pizza. But I also know people that do not like their pizzas. Prices are more than okay. You can have a good, tasty dish for just 10-15 euros. Prices of drinks also average for Munich standards. Location is good; easy to find, near public transport. Accessible for wheelchairs. Not many parking spots though. Overall I like this place because it's a casual, easy to go to restaurant. Would've been 4 stars in case it wouldn't be so loud. That's why I only go here during the week or go for a take-away pizza.

Boring investment, very loud music, young inexperienced, not a good service, handling food ingredients in the kitchen without gloves like the fresh rocket topping and some hair on my pizza. What can I say..? I would expect something better from a chain of eatery like L'osteria but to tell you the truth the other one at the central station it's not any better means that the entire chain sucks.

We normally visit the L’osteria at Lenbachplatz but thought of trying this one for a change. The pizza Rustica was absolutely delicious, the Quattro Formaggi was however served at least 5-7 mins cold. Upon informing the staff, they replaced it with a smile. It however spoiled my appetite and in addition our Holunder Schorle was a bit flat and lacked flavor. The ambiance was nice and we had an okay experience overall. 5 stars for the service.

Kind of unique experience around pizza. The pizzas are great and huge and preferably are made to share. If not feeling like pizza the bolognesa pasta is really good!
